SOO GP7 381 rolls across the Eau Claire River as below zero temperatures create icy steam on the water and frost the trees. The railroad had a stub end yard to the left of the bridge, then used Milwaukee Road tracks to access SOO's own branch line to Chippewa Falls, WI where it connected with their mainline.
