Conrail SA-31 makes its way eastbound through downtown Freehold after working Prestone. Surprisingly, they came back through town as light power, providing this scene at the Freehold station. The next stop for the crew is Builders General, where they will drop off two centerbeam cars with wood loads, which were set out farther up the line prior to this photo.
