There aren't that many places were you can photograph trains with the Portland skyline. East Portland, the end of the SP mainline, is one. Back in summer 1991, an SP transfer from Brooklyn Yard is pictured at East Portland. Once this job crosses the Willamette River, it will pass through Union Station and take its cars to the Portland Terminal Company at Lake Yard.
