Remarks & Notes

As the Gilchrist family prepared to sell the Gilchrist Timber Company, some excess assets were liquidated. The KNOR's 70-tonner was sold to Modesto & Empire Traction. When the locomotive was delivered to SP to begin its trip to California, we caught one last photo of the KNOR 205 and KNOR 207 together. Note that SP's sign painter had difficulty spelling "Gilchrist."
