Stopping short before the lift span at Control-point (CP) Tenbridge (MP-328.7), NS 180 (Macon,GA-Elkhart,IN) is waiting to meet the hotshot pig train NS 229 (Chicago,ILL-Jacksonville,FL) which is coming through Cave Springs a control-point location that is on the outskirts of Hixson, TN. The reason being why NS 180 is holding off at the river instead of stopping at the next signal at Hixson, the train is at whooping 11,000ft in length which mean stopping at the next signal would block a main road crossing. Once the meet is being made, NS 180 will proceed north on the CNO&TP 2nd District heading for Burnside, KY on its long journey to Indiana.
