Remarks & Notes

R&N's RDC's, led by No. 9166, former Reading Railroad, prepare to depart the restored 1901 built Reading Company station in Schuykill Haven, PA. This station saw regular passenger train service by the Reading and even SEPTA until taken out of service in 1981 when SEPTA cancelled diesel service to Pottsville, PA truncating the line at Norristown.
