| An excavator is hard at work tearing out ties as a section gang slowly dismantles the house track, while a late running eastbound Southwest Chief passes under one of the two remaining Santa Fe style cantilever signals left on the Topeka Sub. BNSF is slowly converting the Topeka Sub from TWC/ABS to CTC and this cantilever, and one similar to it in Topeka, will both be history. |
