Remarks & Notes

CNW 222 was born as an FT, rebuilt as CNW 4052A, an FP9M, and saw service pulling the Twin Cities 400 and Duluth-Chicago passenger trains before entering freight service. Here at Minneapolis, the former M&STL engine facility, it waits its next call to duty, most likely on a freight to Marshalltown, IA or Kansas City via former M&STL or CGW lines.
