| The "Wuppertaler Schwebebahn" is a single rail suspension railway with double flange wheels, which is running on a 13,3 kilometer long double track line between Wuppertal Oberbarmen and Wuppertal Vohwinkel, on about 10 kilometers length high above the Wupper river. GTW 72 # 13 is runing as train # 2 between Varresbecker Straße and Zoo/Stadion. In the moment, the cars from 1972 (GTW 72) are beeing replaced by the new GTW 15 from Vossloh-Kiepe (now Stadler Rail). o |
