Burlington Northern GE U30C No. 5828 leads am eastbound coal train past Hoffman Avenue below Dayton’s Bluff in St. Paul, Minnesota, on November 21, 1987. Former BN SD45 No. 6517, now Wisconsin Central locomotive with the same number, is leading a freight that has just departed Soo Line’s former Milwaukee Road Pigs Eye Yard.
