Remarks & Notes

The screaming prime movers could barley be heard over the thunderous sound of the rushing water in South Boulder Creek... Spring run-off is just beginning on this late 70 degree day in April. The train is entering a 12 degree curve making it one of the tightest mainline curves between Denver and Salt Lake City... the scar on the hillside is the day-lighted remains of Tunnel 28.
