Remarks & Notes 
The 400 was a big deal along its route through Wisconsin. The train had the 400 Club bar/tavern named for it many years ago, with appropriate signage. The tavern is located across the street from the Altoona depot, and I suspect is still a watering hole for railroad workers after a long work day on the railroad. The sign was still in service in fall 2015 when I was last through there.
