Illinois Central Gulf SW7 no. 1207 mates up with GP10 8105 to handle heavy switching at the south end of Markham Yard at Homewood, IL on a pleasant June 30, 1979. The graphics of IC/ICG were an interesting continuation of the images created for Great Northern and CP Rail. Unfortunately the orange/white did not hold up too well in practical use. Even so, the scheme continued for quite a while post-IC in the ICG era before being replaced with gray.orange, then black once again.
