tier 4 and clean coal
After making a quick stop just south of the Norton Signal, NS 734 (Memphis,TN/BNSF-Juliette,GA) is finally under way pass under the cantilever signal through downtown Dalton, GA at control point Hair (MP 40.1H). This particular Scherer coal bucket is becoming very popular by railfan's as of late, cause it's being led by a pair of brand new ET44AC's, and in addition to the pair at the front, their a pair of Tier 4 on the rear as distributed power (DPU), a quartet of big modern muscle. The loaded coal bucket is heading to Plant Scherer to be unloaded, and some 24 hours from now this train will be heading back north empty for the BNSF in Memphis, TN.
