| Easing out of Price Canyon on a beautiful afternoon on California's central coast, Amtrak's southbound Coast Starlight slows as it approaches Grover Beach to meet its northbound counterpart as it passes a hillside that has exploded with wildflowers thanks to this winter's heavy rains.
While the hills of Cuesta Pass have yet to develop this much color, Price Canyon is certainly an equal consolation prize. |
