It's a beautiful early Spring evening; the sun is moments from setting, and the ever-growing shadows quickly consume the landscape. Running approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes late, Amtrak's Southwest Chief #3 makes a timely appearance as it descends Glorieta Pass and into Canyoncito, NM.
