Remarks & Notes

The New Haven RR called this the "Shore Line" for obvious reasons. On a spring afternoon, Amtrak Northeast Corridor train 173 sped west along Long Island Sound at West Mystic, CT, behind one of the ubiquitous F40PHs that were in charge here for more than twenty years.
