Remarks & Notes
BNSF’s Bend local departs Madras, Oregon, and crosses Willow Creek Trestle during the very last sunlight of September 28, 2016. Powering the short two-car train back to Bend is BNSF GP50 No. 3149 and GP38-2 No. 2093, both still dressed in former Burlington Northern colors.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)

The Oregon Trunk, the route most well known for the Deschutes Railroad War, still sees BNSF-and at times detouring UP-traffic today. This album covers all images taken along the line between Celilo and Chemult, Oregon.
