| A decision on the future of steam at Sandaoling will be taken during March 2017. However until then it is business as usual and coal must continue to be hauled out of the open cast pit. Following a loco failure earlier in the week there has been a reprieve for JS 8173 which is being re-activated from the 'graveyard'. After a quick visit to the workshop the locomotive is back in steam and workers scurry to make final fixes to get the loco back into traffic later in the day. |
