After coming around the curve we're at the bottom of Pine Ridge grade on the NS Emory Gap Line (EG). NS 73Z (Kingsport,TN-Chattanooga, TN/CSX) an empty TVA train is making its way south back to Emory Gap Yard in Emory Gap, TN. This train with a trio of CSX motors originated out of the Elk Creek Mines owned by the Hopkins County Coal Co. and TVA Kingsport Fossil Plant is one of its customers. Once the train has arrived at Emory Gap the trio of CSX motor will switch ends and face south on the CNO&TP 2nd District, and the crew will run the empty back south to Chattanooga eventually getting back on CSX trackage bound for the Elk Creek Mine for reloading in Hopkins County, KY .
