Home Stretch
The Escalante Western Railway coal train has traversed the winding route through the hills from the Lee Ranch mine, and is on the long tangent stretch at the southwestern end of the line. Visible in the distance is the Plains-Escalante Generating Station, unloading point for the Lee Ranchmine’s product.
