A mostly EMD lash up of power pulls the MoW train of W045 into the city of Opelika this afternoon. The 28 car train is moving a variety of interesting sights such as gondolas full of scrap rails and even one loaded with new spikes, a few boxcars converted into offices and of course the brightly colored MoW equipment bringing up the rear. The 2479 has a habit of leading MoW trains and was even seen pulling one through this city almost 7 years ago.
