An eastbound CN freight bends around the curve and crosses the Fraser River as it approaches Lytton, BC. No sooner will it wind through the small town than it will cross another bridge over the Thompson River and head up the canyon toward Kamloops. Today trains of CN and CP share this trackage typically westbound only.
