The tornado sirens are blaring in Kansas City this afternoon and 3 KCT engines sit tied down waiting for the severe weather to pass. The storms prompting the warnings produced several brief tornadoes and funnel clouds across the city, causing some moderate damage, but no injuries, extremely heavy rain, and curtailed yard operations for an extended period of time on KCT Trains 217, 311, seen here, and the 505 job operating near Sheffield.
