| Under a blanket of low hanging clouds. A mid day westbound on the Yadkin Valley Railroad heads towards the turning point of Elkin, NC. Movements through this portion of the YVRR westbound around this time of evening are rare. The YVRR had a rough morning due to a large tree that fell across the tracks a few miles east of Crutchfield causing the train a couple hours of delay. |
