For the second year in a row, I was in Florida in January for continuing education. This year I only spent an hour or so trackside at the Delray Beach passenger station. First up was this southbound Tri-Rail commuter train, viewed from the station's pedestrian overpass. The tight screen mesh made photography difficult, but I was able to manage an unobstructed telephoto shot. In the distance to the right of the tracks you can see the old Seaboard Air Line depot, abandoned by Amtrak in 1993, but listed on the National Register of Historic Places and currently undergoing renovations.
