Showing off its Burlington colors two years into the BN merger, BN's class GP40 is parked at the North La Crosse, WI roundhouse for servicing. This facility was formerly CB&Q, and Zephyrs, Empire Builders and North Coast Limiteds all made a quick stop on the other side of the roundhouse to change crews. This was in addition to the stop at the La Crosse passenger station south of here.
