| In the winter of 1988-89, Union Pacific experienced severely cold temperatures in Oregon's Blue Mountains. Many trains were detoured around the problem area. Power for a detouring UP train just in from Keddie is serviced at Burlington Northern's engine facility in Klamath Falls. |
