Amtrak #6 ran 8 hours late through Nevada and Utah this day due to winter storm induced problems in the Sierras.. For me that meant a daylight passage over Soldier Summit in Utah. It was running with AMTK #42, the Veterans unit, leading and AMTK #156, in the Phase 1 Heritage scheme as 2nd unit. It is seen here at Lynn in Price River Canyon on the 2.4% descent from Soldier Summit.
