The first of three snow storms to hit the Arizona Divide has started to impact the college town of Flagstaff, Ariz. With roads covered with snow and ice, the high volume of traffic from the BNSF Transcon has kept the steel rail polished as Amtrak's Southwest Chief #3 prepares to stop for its station work at the Flagstaff train station.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
