| A northbound coal empty illuminates the grade as it climbs into Palmer Lake under the watchful presence of the iconic Star of Palmer Lake which is just wrapping up its 81st year of operation on this chilly New Year's Eve. The Star is lit every year on the Saturday following Thanksgiving all the way through January 1st. |
