NS mine run U47 with two ET44ACs and a caboose waits by the long vacant L&N passenger depot in downtown Appalachia, VA for another train (NS 386) to get into the clear. Once NS 386 clears, NS U47 will get a train together of empty coal hoppers and gondolas with caboose on the end and back to Wentz, VA for loading.
