Remarks & Notes
Top Ten of 2016. With the year almost over, here's a look back at my Top 10 favorite shots from 2016.
9. One of the three main railroad targets of an October trip to Colorado (which will dominate the countdown) was the remaining semaphores on BNSF's Raton Sub in New Mexico. Making every bit of 79 MPH, the westbound Southwest Chief splits the three semaphores at the west end of Levy siding, just north of Wagon Mound, NM.

The Southwest Chief is an under-appreciated train. The New Mexico scenery is like none other in the entire system.
