Power for the LOE34 "Calexico Turn" waits between assignments in El Centro. Their southward leading unit is FXE 3820, one of 34 Super 7-C30MP's built by GE for NdeM in 1994. Sporting a carbody similar to the C40-8, this was the last version of the Super 7 which GE built. Later in the evening, the train will head to the Calexico/Mexicali border crossing, where a Ferromex crew takes the train to their yard and brings back an inbound train for the UP.
