Remarks & Notes

NORMAN OK June 3 1979 -- Eastbound (compass north) train 593, headed up by GP30 3207, overtakes a train in the siding led by GP38 3556. This is the siding on the north side of Norman beside U.S. 77 and the former Naval Air Station. The long-gone interurban line paralleled this portion of the Santa Fe tracks.
