The end of an era. By late 1994 it was becoming more difficult to capture BN SD40-2s in their original scheme in complete consists. Tiger stripes, white faces and leasers had invaded the system, along with new SD70MACs. Next would be the ATSF merger. Even this shot of a stack train crossing the Wenatchee River at Dryden, WA has an intruder in the form of SD CAT no. 6330. I'll forgive it because the paint matches and it looks pretty cool with the air deflectors and SD45 style radiator.
