NORMAN OK April 1977 -- Santa Fe U30CG 8000 leads a train west (compass south) over the Acres Street crossing toward downtown Norman. The third unit in consist is also a U30CG. The area in foreground is now part of a park which stretches along the tracks. The name of the street should be spelled Acers. The family the street was name for spelled their name Acers (with a hard K for the c) but the misspelling has fell into general usel
