| Perhaps the best time to visit the Powder River Basin is dawn or dusk. Summer weather with its frequent thunder storms can create some fabulous skies. All you need is a train, and at its peak, that was not all that difficult to achieve with over 100 trains a day on this coal line. This is a northbound UP coal empty heading north towards Bill just before sunset. |
