Remarks & Notes
A B&W seem fitting in retro spec to the B&O heritage engine that the SVRR is sporting around these days. Rumor has that the Alco RS-11 they are restoring to full operation will go back to its original paint and herald Norfolk & Western. For all us locals and anyone who appreciates the Chesapeake & Western, seeing the day where an alco rolls the rails once again cannot get here quick enough! Seen here, #6512 is pulling CW's entire train South so the CW can recouple and pull it back North to Harrisonburg. Link here http://www.railpictures.net/photo/595725/ (Picture 595725) for the run around meet of both the CW/NS & SVRR/B&O engines prior to this move. Also a special THANKS to all our veterans and those currently serving in our military. Happy Veterans day.
