Remarks & Notes

During my first trip up the Fraser Canyon, we made it as far as North Kamloops. We actually went a bit north along the Thompson River and caught CN's Super Continental coming westbound into town. This photo was taken just west of the CN station as the train is about to leave town. I always thought this was one of the most striking passenger train schemes ever. Note the old boxcars (left) and the new GP38-2W next to the steam era water tank.
