Remarks & Notes

After Canadian National merged the Wisconsin Central in 2001, with the sale approved on September 7, 2001, some of WC’s locomotives soon found themselves gathering in storage lines. On November 12, 2001, GP30 No. 2251 keeps company with five SD45s on the back tracks at Shops yard in North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. WC No. 2251 is former Chicago & North Western/Fox River Valley No. 814.
