CP GP9s 8676 and 8832 show off their different paint schemes from the front in this view at Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island. CP was pretty aggressive about painting their motive power in the Action Red scheme, so finding gray and maroon units was becoming fairly challenging by the mid-1970s when I first began photographing the CP with a 35mm camera.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
