| DRGW 491 runs around the Colorado Railroad Museum on a beautiful fall day. The Baldwin 2-8-2 was built in 1902 as a Class C-41 standard gauge locomotive. It was rebuilt in 1928 to narrow 3 foot gauge and given its number as 491. It was donated in 1970 to the Colorado Historical Society and stored at Alamosa until it was moved to CRRM on long-term loan in 1985. |
