Remarks & Notes
UP SW9 1838 and SW7 1816 relax under threatening skies at Argo Yard, Seattle, WA, in May 1976. The two switchers display slightly different color schemes, emphasizing the 60s era slogan on the 1838 and the 70s era slogan on the 1816. UP was one of the last railroads to regularly use slogans on their locomotives which included "We Will Deliver" and "Building America".
