Freshly rebuilt SD40-2 #3054 leads the WORK-11 southbound on the Main Line through Nesquehoning, PA. The heavy sanding (and some fresh ballast dust), evident on the underframe of the unit, shows the battle the lone unit had working up the mountain out of Tamaqua earlier that morning. With the completion of this rebuild, all nine of R&N's SD40-2's are now in active service.
