NS local A81 has just taken the passing siding at Elko within the city limits of Huntsville, AL for a meet with a westbound empty coal train. The train of 51 cars consists of a loaded center beam car and 50 brand new EFNX covered hoppers built at Freight Car America's Shoals facility in north Alabama. A81 will soon interchange the covered hoppers with the Huntsville and Madison County Railroad where the cars will be placed into temporary storage.
