Remarks & Notes

Under one of the most interesting skies that I’ve encountered, Rio Grande train 138 passes the depot at Granby, Colorado on its eastbound journey. The presence of the UP SD40-2 is somewhat unusual, as UP ownership of this line is still over a decade away. After that event all three locos in this photo will wear Armour yellow.
