| SOLITUDE IN ARCADIA
O Winston Link once shot here at night and commented that he stayed just long enough to not be eaten by the wildlife that he could hear in the dark around him. It's tranquil, isolated, scenic and mesmerizing. The former C&O Railroad mainline hugs the opposite river bank of the James River that flows just to the right. If you come at the right time, the battle of train horns fills the Valley with their sound. Interstate 81 is only a five minute drive but you would never know it. |
