Baltimore & Ohio “wagontop” caboose C-2478 was one of a hundred built by B&O’s Keyser, West Virginia shops in 1941. After a thirty-nine year career, it was retired, and received a full restoration before going to the B&O museum in 1980. Here it is on display in the museum’s yard the following year.
