After battling serve thunderstorms for the majority of its return trip from the South Rim, Grand Canyon Railway Train No. 7 pulls into the Williams depot under still threatening skies. Waiting to greet the train is display locomotive GCRY 539, a 2-8-2 Mikado built in 1917 for the Spokane, Portland & Seattle Railway. Thanks to the heavy storms passing through earlier in the afternoon, a large puddle has formed that might have remained crystal clear for a perfect reflection shot had some small drops not been falling from the running-board of the 539. Just goes to show how wet it really was that evening.
